The Spanish tourist destination the Daily Mail recommends to its readers: "It looks like something out of a storybook."

British tourists are the foreigners who most frequently visit our country, especially in search of sun and sand. Although they most commonly visit the Mediterranean coast and the archipelagos, they are increasingly expanding their focus to the Cantabrian coast.

That's why this Friday the Daily Mail published a report recommending a visit to a beautiful town on the Asturian coast, which it says looks "like something out of a storybook."

It's Cudillero, "an old fishing village in Asturias located in the shadow of a mountain" and which, according to this newspaper, British tourists "haven't heard of."

"This mountain village is a constant presence on lists of Spain's most beautiful towns. Its colorful fishermen's houses form a kind of natural amphitheater overlooking the sea, as if taken straight from a storybook," says the London-based outlet.

"When it comes to eating out, Cudillero specializes in seafood due to its privileged location on the Asturian coast. Seafood features heavily on local menus, while tourists can also enjoy the regional cider," says the Mail.

As for beaches, the report recommends visiting Silencio, "a pebble cove surrounded by cliffs," and Cueva, "a 600-meter-long stretch of sand very popular with surfers."
